The Building Regulations
We are also able to offer help with ensuring your building complies with the 2006 Building Regulations and explain how the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) fits within the Building Regulations.
The Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is the Government's standard procedure for assessing home energy ratings. The energy rating is intended to give property developers, house builders and architects a measure of the overall efficiency of a home in a way that is simple and easy to understand.
The SAP rating depends on a number of factors including:
• Thermal insulation of the building fabric
• Efficiency and control of the heating system
• Ventilation characteristics of the dwelling
• Solar gain characteristics of the dwelling
NOBO Heating is a full member of the National Home Energy Rating Scheme (NHER). Our technical support team is approved to make SAP calculations and can therefore assist you in this process. We are able to work with you to make sure that your heating scheme design is energy efficient and that it assists in compliance with the Building Regulations
