NOBO HEATING UK EXPANDS INTO HEAT PUMPS MARKET WITH EXTENDED ECO-SERIES RANGE
The latter part of 2008 saw Birmingham based electric heating company NOBO launch their new Eco-Series range of renewables products with the Eco-Series Solar Hot Water system. This introduction signaled a new direction for the company and they have now extended this new range to include both ground source and air source heat pump systems for domestic and commercial applications.
The fully comprehensive Eco-Series Heat Pumps range includes air source systems for indoor or outdoor installation, in addition to a selection of ground source systems. The air source range uses the freely available heat in the ambient air to provide efficient heating and hot water at air temperatures as low as -25°C, whilst the ground source range draws as much as 75% of the energy needed by the heating system from the freely available and inexhaustible solar energy stored in the ground via vertical boreholes or horizontal ground collector systems
The majority of Eco-Series heat pumps utilise the NOBO Heat Pump Manager (NHPM) system, which is designed to regulate, control and monitor the entire heating and hot water system. Water temperatures for up to three heating and hot water circuits are individually programmable, allowing the heat pump to provide maximum flexibility, control and efficiency. Of course, the benefits of this system extend beyond energy efficiency, offering precise control over different rooms at different times – the kind of lifestyle solution expected by many of today’s discerning homeowners.
Also available to compliment the range is a series of accessories, including buffer tanks, hot water cylinders and ground collector connections to ensure that installation is as compact and simple as possible and that the systems can be used not only for heating, but also for all the hot water required for the kitchen and bathroom.
To ensure maximum efficiency and the highest levels of quality control, all Eco-Series Heat Pumps are installed by NOBO’s ‘Approved Installer Partners’ – a large network of installers that are accredited under the ClearSkies Scheme and fully trained in the installation, commissioning and after sales support of Eco-Series Heat Pumps.
