NOBO Heating becomes NHER Full Member

NOBO Heating’s Technical Department is now able to offer Specifiers, Consultants and Property Developers professional advice on how to achieve Building Regulations compliance along with SAP and NHER information for their domestic projects, multiple occupancy schemes and other non-standard properties.

Andrew Breakell, Senior Consultant at NOBO Heating, has recently qualified as an authorised NHER SAP Assessor and is now qualified to use the NHER Plan Assessor Software to achieve Energy Ratings assessments calculated from customers’ drawings.

The ratings take into account the design and construction of the home, the efficiency of the heating system and controls and the fuel used. The final score is calculated from an assessment of the running costs of a dwelling divided by its floor area, allowing a comparison with one house against another on the basis of its true energy efficiency. Based on this information, NOBO Heating can provide a detailed technical assessment for undertaking SAP/NHER Energy Rating and advise on amendments required where necessary and quality assurance.
