Cable Remote Control
Cable Remote Control is the addition of an independent control circuit to allow for the remote switching of GCZ, GCH and GCO thermostats between comfort, economy or frost settings.
Heaters fitted with the GCH type thermostat module
 Heaters fitted with the GCH type thermostat module using the cable remote control can be combined with the key card facility so that it can be used in hotels as an energy saving heating solution. The heaters remain in economy mode until the key card is inserted into the switch, which will quickly raise the room temperature to comfort level.
When the room is vacated, removal of the key card returns the heater to economy temperature. Alternatively a similar mode of operation can be achieved by an energy management control system from reception.
Ideally suited for the hotel environment, the GCH module can be controlled from a hotel key card switch or PIR (passive infra-red) with fixed set-back and variable comfort to 24ºC maximum. The GCZ module is similar to the GCH but has variable comfort to 21ºC maximum.
